Welcome to Adventure Inn! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of books and related products for gaming. By placing an order, you agree to the following policies:


General Terms

  • All products listed on our website are subject to availability.
  • Prices are displayed in AUD and may change without prior notice.
  • By purchasing from Adventure Inn, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.

At Adventure Inn, we value transparency and want you to feel confident about the condition of the books you purchase. Please review our policy below:


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

New Books

  • All new books are sold in brand-new condition, direct from publishers or distributors.
  • They are free from markings, damage, or wear, and include any original packaging or shrink-wrap (if applicable).
  • Minor imperfections from printing or shipping (such as slight corner bends or cover scuffs) may occur but do not affect readability or usability.

Pre-Owned Books

  • Pre-owned books are carefully inspected and graded before listing.

  • Each listing will clearly state the condition category:

Condition Category Description
Like New Appears unread, with no noticeable wear. May include publisher inserts or maps.
Very Good Minimal signs of use. Clean pages, intact binding, and only light shelf wear.
Good Noticeable wear such as creased spines, minor markings, or slight page discoloration. Fully readable and intact.
Acceptable Significant wear, such as heavy creasing, annotations, or aging. Still complete and usable for play/reference.

  • Any unique features (e.g., annotations, missing inserts, or special editions) will be disclosed in the product description.

 

Returns Policy

  • We offer a 21-day return policy. You have 21 days after receiving your item to request a return.
  • To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unused, unmarked, with tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.

How to start a return:

Contact us at hello@adventureinn.com.au. Returns must be sent to our return address. 

If your return is accepted, customer to organise return postage of the order. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please note: banks and credit card companies may take additional time to post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund approval, contact us at hello@adventureinn.com.au.

Returns Based on Condition

  • Returns for pre-owned books are accepted only if the item’s condition significantly differs from the description provided.
  • Normal wear consistent with the stated condition category is not considered a defect.
  • New books follow our standard 21-day return policy outlined above.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalized products..
  • Digital downloads or PDFs.
  • Gift cards.
  • Sale items.

We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials (though these are unlikely to apply to our products).
